Post Publishing Public Company Limited goes live with NMI’s cross-media advertising system

Publisher of Thailand’s leading English-language newspaper uses NMI’s Active Media Server to introduce new services for readers and advertisers.

June 2004: Medialive Pte Ltd, NMI’s partner in Asia Pacific, announces that the Post Publishing Public Company Limited in Thailand has signed an agreement with Finland’s Northman Matrix International Oy (NMI) to install the company’s Active Media Service (AMS). AMS, a true cross-media advertising database which allows the input of a large variety of formats and the automated distribution of advertising data to a large variety of media, such as print, web, WAP, Teletext, SMS, and MMS. Post Publishing will also use the AMS for interactive promotion campaigns, a service that will benefit both readers and advertisers.

“We believe that the AMS system is the long-awaited bridge between our traditional print media and new emerging media such as the Internet, WAP, SMS, etc,” says Khun Supakorn Vejjajiva, Post Publishing’s Marketing Communications Director. “This system will provide both our advertisers and our readers with easy access to a unique, innovative, and fully-interactive advertising service. It will also open new revenue channels for our company.”
